Torrefacto

Regular price $15.99 $0.00 Unit price per
Torrefacto coffee is rarely imported into the United States, even though it is the preferred roast for cafes in Spain. Here is 100% Torrefacto Roast for coffee aficionados who want to make their own personal blends. . Torrefacto is produced by a special roasting process that produces a remarkably robust, full-bodied cup of coffee, without a hint of bitterness. Raw coffee beans are coated with a fine mist of sugar before they are poured in the roaster

Very similar to the fantastic coffee I had in Spain

I really enjoyed my time in Spain and that was in large part due to the coffee I had there. I was pleased to find Hunter Bros. coffee as they offered Torrefacto roasted coffee at a reasonable price. I will continue to buy it and relive my time in Spain!

Torrefacto vs Ethiopian Yirga Chefe

I love dark roasts, so I purchased both of these. The Torrefacto definitely does have the subtlest hint of sweetness to it, which many would love. I'm a cream only person, though...no sugar. So while the Torrefacto is robust and highly flavorful (and definitely reminded me of several cafes in Barcelona and Madrid from last year), I've decided that I'll be ordering more of the Ethiopian Yirga Chefe. It's a beautiful dark roast that I've even enjoyed black, which I don't often do. I haven't had anything from Hunter Brothers yet that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed...but this Ethiopian variety is my clear favorite.

A Taste of Spain

Your Torrefacto coffee brings a touch of Spain into our Home and reminds us of our 46 days of Spanish “Cafe con Leche” while walking El Camino.

Terrofacto Beans

I find it to be more bitter than the Spanish brands I have ordered from import sites on line. Seems like a fine coffee, just not my taste.

Just like the coffee we had in Spain

We've been looking for coffee like we had in Spain, until I realized it was how they roast their coffee beans, the torrefacto roast. I ordered a bag and man, it was perfect! Bold, and full flavored, but not acidic or bitter at all. I sure do recommend trying their torrefacto roast, it's great, and the shipping was very fast!
